Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. General Principles

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all mobile vehicle cabin services and bookings made via www.cabinpurge.com (operated under the brand Cabinpurge).

Our objective is to maintain clear, transparent, and fair procedures for cancellations, service adjustments, and statutory refunds.

2. Statutory Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)

In accordance with European Union consumer protection rules and Section 355 of the German Civil Code (BGB):

1. 14-Day Withdrawal Period: Consumers have the statutory right to cancel a service agreement within 14 calendar days from the date of initial contract formation without stating any reason.
2. Premature Expiry of Withdrawal Rights: Pursuant to Section 356(4) of the German Civil Code (BGB), for service contracts where a specific performance date is scheduled, the right of withdrawal shall expire prematurely if:
   • The customer expressly requested that the performance begin prior to the end of the 14-day cancellation period; and
   • The service has been fully performed by Cabinpurge.
3. Partial Performance: If the customer requests performance to commence during the withdrawal period but cancels prior to full service completion, the customer shall pay an amount proportional to the services provided up to the time of cancellation notice relative to the total scope of the contract.

3. Appointment Cancellation & Deposit Refunds

Because our mobile service units allocate dedicated time slots and operational logistics for each booking, scheduled appointments are subject to the following cancellation conditions:

• Cancellation Notice Given 24 Hours or More Prior to Appointment:If the customer cancels the booking in writing at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time, any deposit paid will be refunded in full within 5 to 7 business days.
• Cancellation Notice Given Within Less Than 24 Hours:If the customer cancels less than 24 hours prior to the agreed arrival time, or if our mobile team arrives at the agreed location but access to the vehicle cannot be granted, the initial booking deposit may be retained to cover operational dispatch and scheduling expenses in accordance with German statutory provisions.

4. Refund Qualification & On-Site Inspection

1. Joint Inspection: Upon completion of the mobile service, the customer conducts an immediate inspection of the vehicle cabin together with our service representative.
2. Service Issues: If any aspect of the service does not meet the agreed scope outlined in the formal quotation, the customer must notify the service representative immediately on-site or submit written notification to mobile@cabinpurge.com within 48 hours of completion.
3. Remedial Action: Where a valid claim regarding service scope is established, Cabinpurge reserves the statutory right under German contract law to perform secondary corrective work (Nacherfüllung) within a reasonable timeframe not exceeding 7 calendar days.
4. Approved Refunds: If corrective performance is impossible or inappropriate, an approved partial or full monetary refund will be processed back to the original payment method.

5. Refund Processing Timeframe

• All approved monetary refunds are issued directly to the original electronic payment card or method used during booking.
• Once a refund request is authorized by Cabinpurge, the transaction is submitted immediately to payment processors. Returned funds typically reflect in the customer’s account within 5 to 10 business days, depending on the issuing financial institution.
